Our Purpose.

The Nathan O'Brien Children's Foundation was established to provide a helping hand to disadvantaged children.

Our foundation is committed to honouring the memory of Nathan O'Brien and his legacy of compassion and kindness by helping improve the lives of children giving them the opportunity to live, hope and pursue their dreams.

The Airdrie Food Bank, established in March 1984, is the first line of emergency food support for families and individuals facing crisis. Our mission is to collect and distribute food to those in need and help our community find solutions to hunger related issues. Through a number of programs including our Hamper, Pantry and Fuel 4 Kids School programs, we are able to provide supports to our neighbours in need all because of the generosity and dedication from our community.

Since 1979, The Boys and Girls Club has been a safe and fun space, providing high quality affordable programs and services that are accessible to all children, youth and families of Airdrie and surrounding areas. With two main locations in Airdrie, a club in Irricana, and before and after school programs at three participating Airdrie schools, the Airdrie Boys and Girls club has grown to extend our reach throughout our community.

“The AD tourney is one that I look forward to every year. It’s so simple, yet so crucial! A bunch of dad’s coming together for a day of fun and helping others at the same time. We put a team in every year!”
